Enan Chediak is a photojournalist at the Times-Picayune in New Orleans. Born in southern Illinois, he earned his bachelor's degree at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, where he served as the photo editor of the Daily Egyptian, the university's student newspaper.

Chediak is the first photographer to win the Rickert-Ziebold Award, a competition for graduating seniors at the SIU School of Art and Design for his self-portrait series Preacher Boy.
He is also a 2025 Pulitzer fellow, working with photojournalist Lylee Gibbs on how research with low-glycemic rice could reduce rates of diabetes in a small village of Munchis, Peru.
He also completed a 16-Hour Domestic Hostile Environment First Aid Course (DHEFAT) and “Stop The Bleed” Course at SIU Carbondale, Illinois in Spring of 2025.
